After enduring some challenging times, which you can delve into in our latest blog post, we are thrilled to announce that we are stronger than ever!
Thanks to your support and the collective effort of thousands, we have successfully elevated our cause to both national and European platforms. What might have been an overlooked environmental disaster has instead sparked a significant movement. We are proud to have delivered a petition—boasting over 18,000 signatures—to the Portuguese Parliament, advocating fervently for the preservation of our forests and ecosystems.
Despite the loggers leaving behind 7 hectares of ravaged land, our spirit remains unbroken. We initiated a crowdfunding campaign that remarkably raised over €11,000, thanks to generous contributions from individuals and corporate partners. These funds are crucial as we work tirelessly to mitigate the environmental damage inflicted.
Our efforts continue unabated with numerous restoration activities!
We've been planting, rewilding, constructing access routes, and redirecting rainwater to nourish new growth. Our community has expanded through hosting volunteer events and collaborations with partners who share our commitment to revitalizing the land. Together, we're not just planting seeds—we're nurturing the soil to ensure it flourishes.
